 Meco was an early member of GVDD and seemed to enjoy meeting new dogs and also the attention he got at the various outings. He was always friendly, lovable and a good ambassador for the group. He seemed to enjoy hanging out with the group more than pulling a sled.
Meco was a laidback, happy go lucky dog and a pleasure to be around. He was our first dog from Adopt-a-Husky. We went to see another dog that turned out to be not so cat friendly. Then we met Meco and it was love at first sight. We adopted him on 1/20/02. He was a perfect fit for our home and loved to play with the cats, even letting them chase him thru the backyard. We always called him the anti-husky as he had none of the bad habits that the breed is known for.
Meco passed away very unexpectedly on 5/04/08. He left us way too soon. We take comfort knowing that he had a loving home and great friends. We are blessed for the six plus years that Meco shared with us. We miss him every day!
