Behr and I did 7 miles on the single track at Palos. A bit trickier than normal in the snow, ice spikes on my running shoes were needed, but I was able to check out ALL of the orange, the blue and the green trails.. blue and green are definately sledable, there are some larger rocks in the middle of the trail at the bottom of a hill on the Blue trail. But with a bit more snow it won't be an issue. Parts of the orange trail are also sledable and we can cut ...off the parts that aren't... And I enjoyed hitting the single track again :) this is why I run!
Here's a link to what we did today:

Here are the two runs I did with the Z-team yesterday nice loop parts of green and orange trail.. very pretty, nice wide trail, rolling hills:

Out and Back from the parking area we were at to the Little Red school house, fairly flat except for the first big hills on the road.

Also for anybody heading out this week they plowed the road :( but the barriers are still up so you won't be able to sled down the road to where the trails branch off. You are better off staging at Bullfrog Lake, just drive all the way down to the bottom of the sledding hill where the blue and green trails are.. this is where I caught Mike yesterday.
